A Reader’s Guide to the Bible

Course Description

The Bible offers a diverse library of sacred texts for Jews and Christians. This course will consider the sources, translations, and literary history of the TANAKH (the Old Testament) and the Christian Scriptures (the New Testament). Participants will encounter these ancient documents and engage in the astonishing stories of their origins and use. The course is not doctrinal, but rather literary and historical. Instructor: Rev.
