Basic Senior Computer Navigation

Class Description

The Computer Basics training session is a seven-week course. Seniors will learn basic information about computers. Seniors will learn vocabulary about computer hardware, and computer software. Seniors will learn how you can put information in computers and get information out of computers. Seniors will also learn about file management and why file management is important. The overall course is designed to introduce Senior Adults to the basic navigation necessary to operate a computer. Skills for operations and maneuvering necessary to be comfortable with basic computer usage are learned. This knowledge will enable students to send and receive emails, explore other social media, create documents and spreadsheets and perform other type computer techniques.
