Core Principles of Psychology VI: Stress

Class Description

This introduction will present some of the core principles of psychology. We will consider psychological aspects of stress, adapting to stress, stress and health, and coping with stress. The course will include lecture and wide-ranging discussion with a consideration to linking events of the day to course material. COURSE OBJECTIVES: 1. Define stress 2. Consider stress mechanisms and methods of adaptation to stress 3. Discuss and analyze the impact of stress on health 4.
