Course Description
Documentary and Amateur Films: 100 Years of 16mm Film In 1923 George Eastman announced the production of 16mm motion picture film, which revolutionized the audiovisual landscape much as digital media has today. Exploring amateur and documentary film genres will uncover the communication impact that this smaller film size had on the world. The new format opened up new possibilities for home movies, travel films and classic documentaries, selections of which will be screened. Instructor: Pamela Wintle
