Our Mission
IAL is a volunteer organization of age 50+ adults whose mission is to provide learning and social experiences which enrich the lives of its members. IAL is open to all who are interested in a diverse curriculum of classes and programs designed to recognize the unique experience and capabilities of participants through learning opportunities, social experiences and trips.

Become a Member
$90 per semester per person
Membership is open to all adults who are interested in the Institute for Adult Learning classes and social activities.
As a member, you may register for as many classes as you choose, space permitting, and attend all social events.
Please designate your $90 membership (non-refundable) to
MSCF IAL-Membership Fund.

Institute for Adult Learning is a community-based volunteer organization whose members share a love of learning and a desire for sociability. Your donation, along with membership fees and grants, support our business expenses and rental fees, as well as honoraria for our instructors.

Institute for Adult Learning Fund is a component fund of the Mid-Shore Community Foundation, a public 501(c)(3) charity. Contributions to the Fund support IAL and are fully tax-deductible as allowable by law.
