Course Description

African American History in Queen Anne’s County 1631-1870 This course will survey the deep history of African Americans in Queen Anne’s County. Starting with the establishment of the colony of Maryland and ending with the post-Civil War period, participants will learn about freedom seekers, soldiers in the Civil War and much more.
