Course Description
Steve Sieracki, our resident Horologist, will be showing attendees various metallurgical skills essential to clock repair. Attendees will assist in making and breaking clock parts. Skills covered will include soldering, file use, annealing, hardening, and blueing brass and steel. We will break and fix a clock gear tooth, adjust a steel clock pallet, and blue a steel screw head. Come learn and enjoy! Limited to 25 participants Instructor: Stephen Sieracki Stephen Sieracki has been working on clocks for 22 years. He has worked on and researched several clocks for both Historic Annapolis and the Hammond Harwood House in Annapolis.
