Course Description

This “course” has more of a club format; each member will ideally have some experience with sourdough bread baking and will add their own experiences to the discussions and hands-on activities. Topics that are beyond the basics of sourdough baking will be introduced according to the members’ interest. These can range from methods of maintaining a healthy starter to advanced methods and types of bread; inclusions, sweet breads, open baking, and how to use up sourdough discard are examples. The class will involve some level of discussion as well as hands-on activities. Instructor: Cindy Nichols Friday (3 sessions once a month) Fees: $5 for materials will be collected the day of the first class
