Topics that are beyond the basics of sourdough baking will be introduced according to the members’ interest. Advanced methods and types of bread, inclusions, sweet breads, open baking, scoring, and how to use up sourdough discard are examples. The class will involve some level of discussion as well as hands-on activities. Students who take the Sourdough Bakers course can sign up for this one as well. Limited to 15 participants Instructor: Cindy Nichols Fee: $5 for materials to be collected on the first day of class Cindy Nichols is a speech-language pathologist in private practice in Queen Anne’s County. She learned the art of sourdough baking during the pandemic like many others - through YouTube.
